We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to IKO Community Management’s CEO, Lou Iaquinta. Read his bio below:
Louis J. Iaquinta, Principal, President and CEO
A dynamic realtor and developer, Lou incorporated IKO Real Estate in 1980 after many years in the construction business. Since then, Lou has developed numerous Residential and Commercial, Communities in Montgomery, Prince Georges, Howard and Frederick Counties, Maryland, Many of these communities were created from blueprint to build out. Known for his “hands-on” approach, Lou believes in environmentally responsible and high quality development. In 1996, he established the Property Management Division of IKO to maintain his tradition of high standards in the day-to-day management of his communities.
A past president of the Olney Chamber of Commerce, Lou remains actively involved in the Olney area and surrounding community activities and developments. Active in the various charities that the IKO companies support and sponsor, Lou was the Chairman of the planning committee for Montgomery General Hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Center fund raising program. Thanks to his efforts and that of many of the businesses and citizens in the Olney community the program raised in excess of over one million five hundred thousand dollars for the Montgomery General Hospital Cancer Center. Lou serves on the MedStar Montgomery Medical Center Health Foundation Board and is the Chairman of The Capital Campaign for Oncology. IKO also supports, in various capacities, the American Cancer Society Olney Relay for Life, Wounded Warrior Project, The Iaquinta Scholarship Program and Alzheimer’s Association.
